Blueberry and raspberry clafoutis

So to go along with tonights dinner I had to have a heart warming desert, taken from the Thrifty Kitchen cookbook I chose this gorgeous looking one and I hope you love it too! It was really quick to put together and tasted just amazing!!

1 punnet frozen blueberries
1 cup frozen rasberries
1/4 cup blanched whole almonds
2 tablespoons plain flour
3/4 cup milk
1/2 cup caster sugar
2 large eggs
1 tablespoon port (optional)
1/4 teaspoon salt
2 tablespoons cold unsalted butter chopped (optional)

First off put your berries in the bottom of some ramekins or baking dishes.
Preheat your oven to 200 deg.

Wizz up your almonds to make a nice almond meal in the food processor

mmm almond meal

add the flour, eggs, milk and sugar tot he almond meal and wizz until you have a smooth batter

the port is optional to add now too

Pour the batter over the fruit in the dishes

Bake in the oven for 30-35 minutes or until the batter has set and is golden.
Dust with icing sugar and enjoy warm with whipped cream or icecream!.
